Planning Commission

The Planning Commission directs and oversees preparation of a Comprehensive Development Plan to guide and enhance development in the City. The Commission prepares Ordinances, Codes and other tools needed to implement the Comprehensive Plan. The Commission also reviews proposals and plans for public improvements and developments in relation to the Comprehensive Plan and Ordinances.

 

Six Commission members are appointed for 3-year terms by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council. One representative of City Council serves as an ex-officio member on a year-to-year basis.
